Kanoko Shibori with Diagonal Stripe Design (c. 1965–1970)

This obiage is crafted using the traditional Japanese shibori dyeing technique.

Each tiny section of fabric is individually bound by hand before dyeing, creating a richly textured surface with delicate three-dimensional patterns.

The piece features fine kanoko shibori combined with diagonal stripe compositions, reflecting a high level of craftsmanship and a labor-intensive process.

Today, such highly labor-intensive hand-tied shibori is extremely rare.

Most contemporary pieces are produced using mechanized or simplified methods.

It can also be styled as a scarf. The sculptural texture of the shibori enhances the play of light and movement.

Obiage en shibori vintage

Kanoko shibori à composition diagonale (vers 1965–1970)

Cet obiage est réalisé selon la technique traditionnelle japonaise du shibori.

Chaque minuscule portion du tissu est nouée à la main avant la teinture, créant une surface texturée en relief d'une grande finesse.

L'œuvre associe un kanoko shibori très délicat à une composition en bandes diagonales, témoignant d'un savoir-faire exceptionnel et d'un travail extrêmement minutieux.

Aujourd'hui, un tel travail de shibori noué à la main, extrêmement minutieux, est devenu très rare.

La plupart des productions contemporaines font appel à des procédés mécanisés ou simplifiés.

Il peut être porté comme une écharpe. Le relief du shibori capte la lumière et révèle toute la finesse de la soie.

総絞り帯揚げ（鹿の子絞り・筋絞り）

この帯揚げは、日本の伝統的な絞り染め技法によって制作されたものです。

無数の点を一粒ずつ糸で括り、防染したのちに染色することで、立体的で繊細な凹凸模様が生まれます。

本作は、鹿の子絞りを基調としながら、斜めの構成に筋絞りの要素を取り入れた高度な意匠で、職人の卓越した技術と時間を要する手仕事によって実現されています。

現在、このように一粒ずつ手で括る高度な絞り技法は、

非常に手間と時間を要するため、ほとんど行われなくなっています。

現代では多くが機械的または簡略化された方法で生産されています。
