This refined silk houmongi is created using the traditional Kyoto dyeing technique known as Kyo-Yuzen.
It features a graceful phoenix in flight, accompanied by chrysanthemum, plum, and iris motifs, all meticulously hand-painted in a harmonious composition.

Gold leaf is applied to the design, creating soft, luminous surfaces that gently reflect light across the silk.

Houmongi en soie Kyo-Yuzen – Phénix avec motifs de chrysanthème, prunier et iris, rehaussés de feuille d’or

Ce houmongi en soie d’une grande élégance est réalisé selon la technique traditionnelle de teinture Kyo-Yuzen de Kyoto.

京友禅 訪問着 ― 鳳凰と菊・梅・菖蒲文様 金箔友禅

この訪問着は、京都の伝統染色技法である京友禅によって制作された、格調高い絹の一着です。
優雅に羽ばたく鳳凰と、菊・梅・菖蒲の花々が、精緻な手描きによって表現され、調和のとれた構図を生み出しています。

文様には金箔が用いられ、面としての柔らかな輝きが絹地に静かな華やかさを添えています。

訪問着の特徴である絵羽模様により、肩から裾へと文様が一続きに流れ、着用した際には一幅の絵のような完成された景色が現れます。
